Born Again by Nata Terra

To celebrate the hope and joy of Easter, Nata Terra has decided to create an Easter Box by sharing an initiative that will be good for the whole network with other different social realities of the network. You will find the light fruity oil of Nata Terra which with its sweetness and herbaceous hints make it perfect for foods with delicate flavors, accompanied by dark chocolates filled with a Nata Terra extra virgin olive oil mousse made by the master chocolatiers and the boys of Dulcis in Fundo, project of the Davar Social Cooperative.

This initiative is supported by the NCO New Organized Cooperation Consortium, the Parsifal Consortium and
the Don Peppe Diana Committee. For each package purchased, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Un Mondo Blu nonprofit association made up of parents of people with autism or other generalized developmental disorders.

The Chocolate Syndrome

In 2003 the Davar Social Cooperative was born thanks to the meeting of some young people from the Catholic Action of the Parish of San Nicola di Casal di Principe, the church of Don Peppe Diana. Their goal has always been to jointly carry out business projects with a social background. In 2011 they set up Dulcis in Fundo a social chocolate laboratory that involves people with disabilities who have a passion for chocolate. Their headquarters are inside a property confiscated from the
Camorra, the “House of Associations”.

We Support a Blue World

For each package purchased, part of the proceeds will be donated to the Un Mondo Blu non-profit association made up of parents of people with autism or other generalized developmental disorders. The association operates in the province of Caserta in particular in the Agro Aversano, with the aim of sharing useful paths for the development and well-being of their children and for the implementation of rights that protect the current and future needs of those suffering from these pathologies still not fully recognized. One of the current commitments of “Un mondo blu Onlus” is to establish a law that recognizes adulthood autism as a condition of neuro diversity that lasts for a lifetime. The request of parents and professionals in the sector is that the taking charge of these children must be total and cannot be subject to a deadline because after 36 months the families find themselves again having to deal with a slow and deleterious bureaucracy that it only leads to further imbalances and frustrations within families already very tried by the disability of their children. The Un Mondo Blu Onlus association in 2020 in full lookdown due to a health emergency, is the spokesperson for many families who, due to restrictions, have been forced to keep their children locked up at home and often suspend therapeutic treatments, reporting an aggravation of some psychological and behavioral pathologies. From there the meeting with the Social Cooperative Un Fiore per la Vita, which in that emergency, makes the entire area of the Fuori di Zucca Farm available free of charge, involving children in outdoor activities in contact with nature, giving an important support to those families. The enormous social and therapeutic impact of that experience gave life to the La Fattoria della Salute project, a project dedicated to people with mental disorders and autism, built in the extraordinary setting of the Social Farm Fuori di Zucca, a green lung of about eight hectares. of land, in the heart of the former Maddalena Park, in Aversa. Thanks to this project, many families have found a place of reference in the Fuori di Zucca Farm where, together with the members of the cooperative, the educators, the gardeners and the various territorial realities, paths of sociality, commitment and well-being are being built. With this initiative we want to support the activities and families of Un Mondo Blu, convinced that the direction they have taken is the right one, by their side so that a new law on the disability of the autism spectrum is soon implemented, and that the main protagonists in indicating the guidelines, they must be the parents of the children, so that their rights are fully protected and hope for a better future is created.

The Osiris Social Cooperative

The Osiride social cooperative is the parent company of Nata Terra. Osiris is a modern vision of the Social, which has been operating for 15 years on a border area, between upper Casertano and lower Lazio. Osiris is the organizing force of many territorial actions dedicated to others, the most fragile one, straddling services for people and the culture of quality relationships.
